Mailbox Storage Limits and Their AD User Attributes

2010-07-06 Initial Post

Exchange Server 2003 SP2, Windows Server 2003 SP2 AD

These are the AD attribute names for common mailbox size limit settings. You can use these attributes in a script to make changes or view current settings.

These are all integer values, so they show up the same in ADUC. Note that ADUC only allows a value from 0 - 2097151 (2 GB) to be entered, so any values above that would need to be entered by other means such as scripting or ADSIEdit. The large values will be displayed in ADUC correctly, though.

ADUC display name: Attribute name

Prohibit send at (KB): mDBOverQuotaLimit

See http://www.selfadsi.org/attributes-e2k3.htm#UserAttributes for a list of other attribute values.
